NAB League-listed Fraser Marris, Marcus Herbert, Archie Stevens and George Stevens were all named among the Roosters' best against Warrnambool at The Pond on Saturday.
They helped the Roosters to a 12.15 (87) to 5.4 (34) win at a venue which came under scrutiny in the lead-up to the Hampden league match due to its muddy condition.
South Warrnambool coach Mat Battistello said it was played in trying conditions.
"It was terrible. We pulled some players out late Friday night with the conditions and moving ground," he said.
"I'd be very surprised in the coming weeks, if we have anymore rain, whether you'll see another game there."
Warrnambool coach Ben Parkinson said the ground held up OK.
"It was heavy but I have definitely seen worse conditions," he said.
"There was some patches that were pretty shifty but it wasn't sloppy at all."

Parkinson was full of praise for the Roosters' young cohort.
"Marcus was good, Fraser was clearly best on ground, George Stevens looks like a very talented player, his brother Archie was good," he said.
The Blues had their own NAB League-listed teenager in debutant Angus Bade.
"He got in our best players. He took some nice marks. He is very strong with the ball in his hands," he said.
"He was able to fend off a couple of opponents at times. We'd like to see him more if we can but we obviously wish him all the best and hopefully his footy goes a bit further than the Hampden league."
Parkinson lamented the Blues' errors which denied them a chance to score.
"Their skill level was a lot better than ours as well. That was the difference in the game - their ability to hit targets especially inside 50," he said.
"I think they took 19 marks inside 50 which is the most against us for the year. They were all within 30 metres so they were all scoring shot marks."
Battistello said it was the best South Warrnambool had controlled a match all season.
"We were rapt with the way we played. I thought our contest work was the best it's been all year," he said.
He was pleased with Joe Dalton, who manned Jason Rowan, in his first match of the year and Marris' ability to win the ball.
"It is a credit to him, he worked extremely hard over summer and transformed his game," he said.
"It is great all our kids buy in, they love coming back and contributing."
