The duo, who are both new to the club in 2021, told The Standard positivity on-court would be a key theme as the Dogs worked to make up for her absence against South Rovers on Saturday.
Dennington's finals push is still alive but crucial matches against Rovers and then Kolora-Noorat loom in the distance.
Wins in both would lift Sharon Kenna's side back in touch with the top five while defeats could mean the Dogs slip back towards the bottom two.
Both Attrill and Rose said their side was determined for success and would emphasise keeping energy up.
I think there'll be a very strong effort this week and next week to get the win.

"I think there'll be a very strong effort this week and next week to get the win," Rose said.
"We'd love to get a few wins on the board, hopefully. We've got a good bench so hopefully we'll be OK (without Fleming).
"We want to keep the positivity up. We tend to drop our heads and crack it with each other (laughs) a bit so the positivity and talking to each other and keeping it fun is important."
Attrill said Dennington would also focus on its ability to put the game away in the second half.
"I reckon we need to keep being aggressive after half-time because we've started strong and we need to carry that on," she said.
Rose, originally from Hampden league outfit Warrnambool, switched clubs due to friends and the lure of a new challenge.
"I'd heard it's a really friendly club, so I thought I'd get involved and give it a go," Rose said.
Attrill's story is similar.
"I had a couple of friends move here and my sister and I wanted to move from South in the Hampden league and try something new," she said.
