The South Warrnambool youngster is battling some of the Hampden league's biggest bodies in his first season of senior football.
Bridgewater, who debuted against Warrnambool in round one, is filling a number of roles for Mat Battistello's side and is richer for the experience.
"It's been pretty comfortable coming in, probably due to playing some top quality sides in pre-season," Bridgewater said.
"I've been doing a lot of the ruckwork around the ground and switching forward with Sam Kelly and Shannon Beks from time-to-time.

"I've been liking it."
The 20-year-old developed as a key position player - often holding down roles at centre half-back or centre half-forward in juniors - but has been asked to follow the stoppages in 2021.
It's paying dividends.
Just six games into his senior career at Friendly Societies Park, Bridgewater has already been among the Roosters' top players twice, including a best afield performance against up-and-coming Camperdown.
Bridgewater said their were noticeable differences between junior and senior footy.
"Just how much quicker the game is," he said.
"The ball moves around a lot quicker, compared to under 18.5s. The skills are also that bit better."
South Warrnambool will host the Ben Kenna-coached Terang Mortlake at Friendly Societies Park on Saturday without crowds.
The Roosters are second overall on percentage and equal on points with reigning premier Koroit and North Warrnambool Eagles.
