The debut of 15-year-old Fred Beasley is a highlight for the Power. He joins Sam Kenna, Justin Wallace and Brad Johnson in the side. Walsh said Beasley deserved his chance in the senior team.

"He is only light but he's pretty creative so we'll play him forward and maybe a little bit on a wing," he said.

"He's got a little bit of speed and goal sense so it will be great to give him a chance."

Russells Creek has bolstered its ranks, bringing in captain Taylem Wason, Dylan Herbertson, Daniel Nicholson and Caleb Templeton.

Chris Robinson (knee) and Kyle Ryan (ribs) are out injured while Jandamara Chatfield, Harrison Kilpatrick and Darcy Hoy return to the under 18s.

Creek coach Peter Timms said Wason's return from injury was a positive for the club.

"Taylem hasn't played since halfway through round one," he said.

"When he hurt himself against Timboon halfway through the game he was probably best on ground.

"He is just a really clean ball user off half-back. He is super important for our footy team."

Allansford has made four changes for its clash against South Rovers at Walter Oval.

The fifth-placed Cats welcome back the experienced Nick Johnstone, ruckman David Finnigan and the speedy Dylan Hare and Joe Parsons.

Harry Searle, Jos Medley, Cooper McLean and Kane Brumley will make way.

Johnstone had a calf injury and was then unavailable for the Cats' most recent match against Merrivale a fortnight ago. Hare is coming back off a hamstring.

"They're some really good ins," Cats coach Ben Price said.

"Another ruckman (in Finnigan) allows Robbie (Hare) to play forward so young 'Bucky' (Rhys Buck), our under 18 player, and David will swap in the ruck."

Top-ranked Nirranda has brought in experience for its top-five showdown with Panmure at Nirranda.

Coach Brayden Harkness, Nick Couch, Luke Irving, Dylan Willsher, Danny Craven and Peter McDowall will all take their places for the Blues.

Panmure coach Chris Bant said the club was excited to test itself against the benchmark.

"It's what you play footy for," he said.

Dennington has brought in Steven Smith, Luke Pearson and Sean Fogarty for its clash against Old Collegians at Davidson Oval.

Jordan Garner, Liam Byrne and Mitch Howe were omitted.

Dogs coach Ben Thornton said he was expecting an improved performance from his new-look side.

"We have been working on a lot of things since last time we played them," he said.

"We're a young team and we have to try and grab one or two things out of each game."
