Sobey, Bryce Cotton (Perth) and Tyler Harvey (Illawarra) are the three 2021 Andrew Gaze MVP finalists.
Gleeson, Brian Goorjian (Illawarra Hawks) and Dean Vickerman (Melbourne United) are coach of the year nominees.
An awards night will presented on EPSN on Wednesday, June 16.
Sobey, who is in the Australian Boomers' Olympic squad, finished the season with the most points and second on averages (21.06) behind Cotton.
But the Bullets' season finished on Tuesday night. They narrowly missed the finals in coach Andrej Lemanis' last season in charge.
Gleeson's Wildcats, who are without the injured Cotton, are aiming for three straight championships.
They start their best-of-three semi-final series against Illawarra at RAC Arena in Perth on Thursday night.
