The Cats, who were without Bryden Jubb and Tyler Mungean due to head knocks in recent weeks, lost Josh Parsons to delayed concussion in Saturday's triumph over Dennington on Saturday.
Parsons copped a knock above the eye and came from the ground as a result of the blood rule. He was tested for concussion but showed no signs and returned to the field.
Cats coach Ben Price said Parsons ended up leaving the ground in an ambulance as his side romped to a 16.10 (106) to 1.11 (17) win.
"We've had some bad luck," he said.
"We encourage our players to play an intense brand of football and the boys are committing their bodies.
"They're copping plenty of bumps and bruises and we're seeing some concussion as a result of that too."
Price said the match was "a fairly ordinary game of footy". He said Dennington's exuberance was on show early but Allansford was able to pile on scoreboard pressure in the second and third term.
Dennington coach Ben Thornton described the performance as his side's best of the season.
