He rode lap after lap of the track on his family's property with his younger brother, Mason.
"I get bored when I ride out there myself so Mason has definitely helped me get better," the 11-year-old said.

The club is hosting the second round of the Junior Victorian Motocross Championships.
Paddy is competing in under 12 65cc A grade on Saturday and under 12 85cc A grade small wheel on Sunday.
The young gun feels he's got some things working in his favour for the big event, including racing on his home track.
"It's a good advantage and definitely being in the wet (weather) as well, I prefer the wet," he said.
Paddy has been working on riding more smoothly with his mentor, John Maher.
He said he also benefitted from a three-day coaching camp he went during the school holidays where he learnt from former Pro MX riders Lee Hogan, Danny Ham and Mitch Worrell.
And the 11-year-old is starting to see the results of the extra work he's putting in.
He said he finished fifth or sixth overall in the under 12s during the first round of state junior championships at Albury.
He then finished third in the under 12s for round one at the South Australian titles about a month ago.
Paddy will head to the second round of the SA championships in Renmark next weekend.
He's also coming off a third-place finish at the national championships in the 65cc class in Canberra a fortnight ago.
Seven classes will race on the weekend with three grades (A, B and C) for each class.
