The Seagulls assistant confirmed she had completely snapped her achilles and would miss the rest of the Hampden league season.
It happened during the open-grade team's loss to Cobden on Saturday.

Feely was carried from the court at Gardens Oval in the latter stages of the fourth term. The midcourter said she was booked in for surgery Thursday.
"I have been very fortunate over all the years to have no serious injuries so, as devastating as it is, I'm quite lucky to have played as much netball as I have over the years injury-free," she said.
"I'll definitely miss playing but the main focus will be helping from the sidelines, especially the young girls throughout the midcourt.
"We have such a great group of girls this year and Renae is doing a fantastic job as coach so I am still really looking forward to being as involved as much as I can."
Coach Renae Taylor said the group would get around its teammate.
"Obviously, we hope she has a really speedy recovery," she said. "After having a pretty rough start to the year, we'll rally around her as much as possible."
The Seagulls coach said Feely's on-court presence had been important this season among a young group.
"We'll miss her experience on the court and her direction," she said.
Taylor said either Tessa Allen or Liv Cautley would take on Feely's centre role.
"We've got a lot of depth in div one which helps and we've got quite a few juniors who have really been stepping up," she said.
"Tessa Allen who is 17 is likely to fill that role through the midcourt, she's been playing more of a wing defence role - mostly wing defence and wing attack.
"We'll probably see a bit more of Maddie Green who made her debut in open on Saturday.
"Maddie played wing defence on the weekend and she was fantastic and had great composure."
Taylor said Josie Barker was another who could help in Feely's absence.
Port Fairy takes on South Warrnambool at Friendly Societies' Park in round five.
