Best friends, former teammates and now housemates are set to battle under the goal circle on Saturday in Warrnambool and District league A grade.
Russells Creek is hosting Old Collegians at Mack Oval and there are bragging rights on the line for two of the competition's up-and-coming stars.
Creekers' goal keeper Ashlea Ferguson will line up on Warriors' goal shooter Chelsea Quinn.

They cook meals for each other and there's been plenty of banter this week.
"We had Chelsea's parents over for dinner and they were joking about who is cooking Friday night - who is going to food-poison who or who is going to injure who first?," Ferguson said.
"I just thought I might push her in the pool to take her out of it," Chelsea chimed in with a laugh.
While there has been some fun banter in the lead up to the game, the players agreed it would be interesting to see how things are after the match.
"The loser will go with the silent-treatment for sure and the winner will brag," Ferguson said.
"The winner will be bragging for sure," Quinn added.
"The loser will lock themselves in their room and not come out," Ferguson finished with a laugh.

Both girls are expecting a good match on Saturday.
"I'm super keen, I think it'll be a really good match-up across the court, it'll be interesting down our end," Quinn said.
"We've only played against each other once before and that was at school netball with my mum umpiring and I don't think either of us actually touched the ball because we were too busy laughing.
"It'll have to be a bit more serious competition this time."
The 19-year-olds met through netball when they were about 14.
They were both part of a South West Academy of Sport netball program.
They'd end up playing at North Warrnambool Eagles together in Hampden league juniors for two seasons.
The best mates have also been part of academies, representative sides and state title teams together.
Ferguson said Quinn had numerous strengths.
"She doesn't miss, she's really good with her body, she can hold," she said.
Quinn said Ferguson was really quick.
"Which is not one of my strengths I'm not much of a runner so she's very, very quick and she has octopus arms and can get hands to everything," she said.
