The Warriors got their first Warrnambool and District league victory of the season on Saturday with a 48-33 triumph against Dennington.
It was a close game throughout with the Warriors only getting away in the final quarter.
"Everyone in the team in the last quarter started playing a bit smarter with the ball," Toleman said.

She explained that allowed her players to free themselves up and their ball movement became cleaner down the court.
The Warriors mentor said the new faces at the club, including defenders Emily Jansen Van Beek and Grace Bell, were fitting in well and forming friendships off the court.
She feels the Warriors on-court connections will continue to improve as the players get to know each other better.
Toleman is keen to see her side produce a consistent performance across the four quarters against Russells Creek in round four.
She said the Warriors had been a bit inconsistent this season.
In another positive for the side, Bell returned to the court for the first time on Saturday since injuring her wrist and thumb in the Warriors' Good Friday loss to Merrivale.
