Krystal Baker and Amanda Clark stood up for Camperdown on Saturday, helping the Magpies grind out a thrilling draw at South Warrnambool.
The sides finished locked on 40 goals apiece.
Magpies coach Brooke Richardson said the shooting duo were in strong form.
"The girls have been playing really in the first two rounds as well," Richardson said.
"Sometimes you do put a lot of pressure on yourself when you're coming up against a defender like Carly.

"For them to step up under that pressure was fantastic. South had a goal keeper come on the second half who was quite tall as well so for our girls, it was just about remaining calm and composed no matter who they were playing on.
"They just had that belief in themselves and those around them and did really well."
Richardson was delighted with the result and performance against a side she rates as a "top-two team".
"We knew it was going to be a challenge. We set the challenge for 15 minutes at a time," she said.
"To come away with a draw - obviously a win would've been better - but we're really happy with how the girls played."
Cobden coach Sophie Hinkley described her side's 53 to 48 triumph over reigning premier Koroit as "our best four-quarter performance so far".
"We've had two really good games against North Warrnambool and Camperdown but we've dropped off a little in the last quarter of those games," Hinkley said.
"We've just seemed a bit fatigued in the second half, so I chose to play both Jaymie Finch and Molly Hutt both a half in division one and then a half in open, just so we had that change up at half-time.
"I think that really worked in our favour. Molly came on really well. That was her first game of the season in open as she'd been unwell the first couple of rounds and was recovering from that.
"Jaymie had set the game up. It was probably her best half as well with Emily (Finch).
"It was just that consistent effort from everyone across the four quarters which is what you need to beat a team like Koroit."
