Terang RSL sub-branch president Terry Fidge said a dawn service would be held at the hall with a gunfire breakfast to follow.

He said there would also be an open house all-day for people to come and celebrate 100 years of the Terang RSL.

There will also be a service at 10am at the RSL hall, on Shadforth Street, and the community will then gather in the Avenue and walk to the monument where people will be able to lay a wreath.

Mr Fidge said the Princes Highway would remain open and people would be required to use a QR code or sign in.

"We're very pleased to be going ahead," he said.

Port Fairy RSL sub-branch president Doug Nolte said there would be a service at 10.15am at Port Fairy at the memorial on Railway Place and a service at Koroit at noon at the memorial in High Street.

"The only thing is we're praying the weather gets better," he said. "At this stage Sunday is looking a little better. We're very fortunate to have some sort of service when we couldn't have one last year."

Mortlake RSL sub-branch members will march to the memorial in Dunlop Street at 10am.

There will also be a service at Ellerslie at 9am.

In Camperdown there will be a dawn service at 6am at the memorial and a service at 10.30am at the memorial.

RSL sub-branch president Alan Fleming said the general public would miss the tradition of the march but it was good that some normality was returning.

"The community inclusion is always good," he said.

In Hawkesdale there will be a dawn service at 6am at the Memorial Hall at Dawson street with a free sausage sizzle and hot drink afterwards.

Warrnambool's dawn service will go ahead at 6.30am. A limited number of the public are now able to attend, but they need to preregister with the RSL which can be done by phone or on social media.
