B grade netballer Bellman fractured a bone and shattered another in her wrist today, which required surgery, after falling awkwardly during her side's 53-14 defeat.
Mungean said he was sore but recovering well after his concussion. He said he was released from hospital at 7pm on Saturday.
"They gave me a sheet of paper and there is a lot to do with keeping off devices and staying awake for a few hours until 12am before I could go to sleep," he said.
"At the moment it's about taking it steady and not pushing myself too hard. The plan is to watch footy and duck out to farm, feed calves and then back to watch the footy.
"I have been sore and had a fair few headaches and constant headaches every now and then.
"It has eased a bit and I'm just on Panadol to keep that pain down. It hasn't been too bad, which is the main thing."
Cats senior football coach Ben Price said Mungean was stretchered from the ground by trainers in the second quarter and was later taken in an ambulance to Warrnambool Base Hospital.
"He will have an extended stay on sidelines after that," he said.
"He received a free kick or mark, I didn't see it (the incident) happen, and he kicked the footy and in the kicking action his feet left the ground and were taken out from him and he hit ground with his head making contact with the ground.

"Play was stopped for a long time. He was in a neck brace and on the stretcher before getting into an ambulance and heading for hospital during the last quarter.
"He has to miss next week minimum. He plays with a helmet on already for protection. This is not a good result for him."
Mungean was not the Cats' only injury as they were forced to play without a bench from early in the second term of the 23.19 (157) to 4.4 (28) defeat to Nirranda.
Cousins Connor and Cooper McLean both suffered calf injuries while Dalton Pincott hurt his knee.
Price said the Cats had selection issues in both senior football grades with the club's reserves also suffering an injury crisis on Saturday.

"Across seniors and reserves we will have eight to nine forced changes," he said.
"We will have to shuffle the magnets a fair bit but we have a few coming back.
"Nick Johnstone got through the reserves game and hopefully he will be able to cover the void at senior level. My job is easier as we pick a senior side first but the reserves have got their work cut out for them."
Nirranda recruit Nick Couch was a dominant force up forward for the Blues, slotting nine goals. Half-back Scott Carlin was named best on ground for the Blues.
Second-gamer Zavier Mungean, Tyler's brother, was named the Cats' best player alongside experienced heads in Travis Membrey and Brett Hunger.
