Richardson hopes the ever-green Tracey Baker (wing attack) and her daughters Chelsea (centre) and Krystal (goals) will provide headaches for Hampden league opposition in 2021.
The Pies, who defeated Terang Mortlake in round one, want the dynamic trio to play to their strengths against Cobden on Saturday.
The open-grade match is at the later time of 4.15pm.
"'Trace' is amazing and we are so lucky to still have her and her smart netball brain," Richardson said.
"To have the three of them working together in our side, gosh we're lucky.
"They've got these crazy passes - they just know where each other is going to be."
Richardson said Tracey led by example too.
"Her work rate for being our oldest player is just such a great example for our up-and-coming open players as well, especially in a wing attack position," she said.
"She's still got it, that's for sure."
Richardson said Cobden, which played in the 2019 grand final and defeated North Warrnambool Eagles in their 2021 season-opener, would "be a challenge".
"I always get nervous heading into the game, no matter who we're playing," she said.
"But this week in particular is going to be a really good challenge for us and will give us a bit of a gauge as to where we do sit against who I think will be a top-three side in Cobden.
"It will be a good indication also of how are combinations are working together."
