The two competitions start this Sunday with six women's and eight under 18 girls to take to the field for round one.
The WVFFL met on Tuesday night to discuss the competition format of the 2021 season with four teams - one senior and three juniors - pulling the pin on this year.
Terang Mortlake withdrew on Monday due to a lack of numbers. South Warrnambool, Warrnambool, Hamilton Kangaroos, Portland, Ararat and Horsham Demons will feature in the 10-round senior women's competition.

Timboon Demons, North Warrnambool Eagles and Ararat have pulled out of junior competition this season.
Terang Mortlake, South Warrnambool, Horsham Demons, Warrnambool, Hamilton Kangaroos, Portland, Old Collegians and Stawell Warriors will fight for glory in the 14-round under 18 girls competition in 2021.
The senior women's draw has six bye rounds throughout the season to align with the junior draw so both competitions finish at the same time. A three-week final series will follow with the grand final on August 22.
WVFFL administrator Mike Farrow said the aligning the competitions meant the finals series would showcase the best of both leagues at the same time.
He said clubs were keen to play again after the 2020 season was cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic.
