Construction on two wind farms in the Moyne Shire is expected to begin later this year.
Some early works at the Ryan Corner wind farm and Hawkesdale wind farm have already begun.
GPG Australia engineering manager Guillermo Alonso said the Ryan Corner wind farm comprised 52 turbines of 4.2megawatts capacity per turbine, while the Hawkesdale wind farm comprises 23 turbines of 4.2 megawatts capacity per turbine.
"We are currently doing some final geotechnical investigations and putting together a construction schedule," Mr Alonso said.
"We are excited to start construction soon and expect to have shovels in ground around mid-2021."
Mr Alonso said both projects would create a number of jobs. "A minimum of 500 Australian jobs will be secured during the construction of both wind farms and at least 21 permanent quality jobs will be also created locally during the operation term of 30 years, not only by GPG Australia but also by our main contractors."
