BREAKFAST: For men wanting to find a place for a chat, look no further than the Grab Life by the Balls community which meets at Lake Pertobe at 7.30am every Friday.

FOR THE KIDS: Warrnambool Library Rhymetime is on from 10.30am. The event is free but bookings are required via Eventbrite.

CARNIVAL: The Warrnambool Family Carnival is operating from Good Friday until April 11 with rides including dodgem cars, the cha-cha and the Enchanted Circus. Keep an eye in the sky on Sunday evening with a Easter fireworks display by the foreshore from 8.45pm.

EXHIBITION: The Warrnambool and District Artists Society exhibition is now showing at the Merri View Gallery until June 20. The gallery is open 12pm-4pm on weekends.

CHILDRENS WORK: The Gateway Plaza's Children's Art Display will open with a collection of submitted work throughout the centre. The display will run until April 16.

SEA CHANGE: Caroline Healey and Tim Freeman's collaborative exhibition is now showing at The F Project. The exhibition showcases a range of Warrnambool and surrounding seascapes in the artist's different styles. The community gallery is open 10am-4pm Friday-Sunday at 224 Timor Street, Warrnambool with the show running until April 25.

LIVE MUSIC: Fifteen Minutes of Fame at St Brigids Church and Hall, Crossley is back from 7.30pm. Featuring; Aniar Quartet, Nick Thies, Jamie and Jeff Scimonello, Central Park, Mel and Trevor McKenzie, Eureka Smith, Tempo and In Full Swing. Admission is $20 for adults, $15 for concession and children 12 and under are free. Doors open at 6pm with baked potatoes, desserts, tea and coffee available to purchase. All profits support the community ownership of St Brigid's Church and Hall at Crossley.

ARTS AND CRAFT: There will be an art and craft display featuring dolls and cross stitching at the Naringal Baptist Church from 10am to 2pm until Saturday. There will also be a chance for visitors to make their own crafts with a morning sessions starting at 10am and the afternoon session beginning at 1pm.

WORKSHOP: Shannon Jellie and Lorraine Deppeler will be running workshops at the Naringal Baptist Church. Jellie will be taking abstract acrylic painting and Deppeler will be taking wet-on-wet watercolour painting from 10am. In the afternoon Jellie will be running woodwork workshops from 1pm. Bookings can be made via 0427 519 159.

FITNESS: Parkrun meets every Saturday at Lake Pertobe at 8am for a five-kilometre run/jog/walk.

OPEN GARDEN: 'Timandra' in Narrawong will be opened for the public for the last time this weekend. The Alison Aplin Art Gallery will also be open onsite and there will be produce, Devonshire Teas and providore stalls at nearby Narrawong Community Market. Tickets are $10 for adults, $6 for students and under 18 free via Open Gardens Victoria website with all proceeds supporting the Narrawong District Hall.

EASTER SHOW: A 3D art exhibition with the theme 'A Favourite Hymn' will be on show at the Warrnambool Uniting Church Saturday and Sunday from 10am-4pm.

WORKSHOP: Sue Loxton and Naomi Cavill will be running workshops at the Naringal Baptist Church. Loxton will be taking two sessions of pyrography beginning at 10am and 1pm meanwhile Cavill will be making crepe paper flowers. Bookings can be made via 0427 519 159.

DISCUSSION: Sylvia Fraser will be leading "Knowing the Father's Heart" workshop and discussion from 2pm at the New Life Christian Church.

MUSIC: Rosanna Palmer will be running a full day expo of Creatives' Art from 10am at the New Life Christian Church including a songwriting and devotional workshops from 11am. The day will end with a gospel rock concert starting from 7.30pm.

TOY WORKSHOP: A Toymaking Workshop hosted by Good Guys Never Win Toys at One Day Studios this weekend. In the workshop participants over the age of 16 will learn how to create a character figure of their own. On day one, participants will create a character, sculpting vs kitbashing and basic casting and on day two they will be learning that painting makes all the difference, tricks vs skill, making your own packaging and presentation. Tickets are $55 per session, or $95 for both via the One Day Studios website.

MARKET: Warrnambool showgrounds will hold its weekly undercover market from 8am to 1pm.

WEDDING SEASON: There will be 44 exhibitors showcasing their wedding products and services at the Warrnambool Bridal Expo over two sessions; 10am - 12pm and 12pm - 2pm at The Emmanuel Centre. Tickets must be bought before the event via Eventbrite.

BEAUTIFY: Russell's Creek Landcare are holding a Revegetation Project at the Wares Road and Russel's Creek track junction. Volunteers are invited to come along from 10am with their gardening gloves and a barbeque lunch will be provided.

SINGING: Songs of Praise will proceed morning tea at the Warrnambool Uniting Church from 10am. Sing along to your favourite hymns with a mass community choir and instrumentalists including organ, piano, trumpet, flute, guitars, percussion and more.

LEARNING: Warrnambool's University of the Third Age is hosting a tutorial with Bruce Key introducing a range of issues related to sustainability. The tutorial will take place at 10.30am in the Hammond Centre on Henna Street and will also be streamed live over Zoom. For more information contact Peter Dexter on 0417 431 277.

BEEKEEPING: The beekeeping club meets every Monday at the Jim Robinson Shearing Pavilion at the Warrnambool Showgrounds at 7pm.

DANCE: "Heart of Grace" dance workshops will take place at the Naringal Baptist Church until April 16. Bookings can be made through Heart of Grace website.

DANCE: Mpower is holding an all-abilities children's dance workshop at the Warrnambool and District Baptist Church from 11.15am.

SHOW: Salute to the Anzacs pays homage to war time entertainers Dame Vera Lynn, The Andrew Sisters, Bob Dylan, Normie Rowe and more. The Lighthouse Theatre show stars Chris McKenna, Roy Best, Jazz Flowers, Alison Jones and Caroline Vercoe, promises to deliver with songs performed including White cliffs of Dover, Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy, Chattanooga Choo Choo, Blowin In The Wind, and a stirring version of Bring Him Home from Les Miserables. The show begins at 11am with tickets available through the Lighthouse Theatre website.

MARKET: The Warrnambool Community Gardens' market returns from 3.30pm to 6.30pm with stalls of fresh fruit and vegetables, seedlings and plants from within 150 kilometres of the city. There will also be live music from Bruce Campbell and Friends.

INFORMATION NIGHT: Men, partners, carers and family affected by prostate cancer are encouraged to attend South West Healthcare's information session at Warrnambool Football Club. The guest speaker is prostate cancer survivor, author and associate investigator of NAVIGATE trial Alan White. A light supper will be provided afterwards.
