Located at 82 Windham Street, Narrawong, Timandra features an array of majestic gums and understorey plants provide habitat for koalas, many species of birds and frogs. Recycled items have become quirky features in the garden.
The couple has developed the garden over the past 13 years using sustainable principles. No earthworks or imported soil has been brought into the garden and all of the plants have been carefully chosen to work with the soil conditions.
The Alison Aplin Art Gallery will be open onsite and there will be produce, Devonshire tea and providore stalls at the nearby Narrawong Community Market.
Tickets are $10 for adults, $6 for students and under 18 free via Open Gardens Victoria website with all proceeds supporting the Narrawong District Hall.
