Isaac Brumby, 5, and Paige Brumby, 4, are taking part in the World's Greatest Shave later this month.
The two cousins are raising money for cancer research.
Isaac's mother Alisha Brumby said she had lost her mother and mother-in-law to cancer, while Paige's mother Shae Brumby has also had relatives affected by cancer.
The two mums are in awe of their children's efforts.
"We're pretty proud," Alisha said.
Isaac will have his head shaved, while Paige will dye her hair at a special World's Greatest Shave event being organised by Sue Bell.
She shaved her head to raised funds two years ago and this year will dye her hair.
Ms Bell said about 10 people had already expressed interest in taking part.
She said there would be people shaving their heads, dying their hair and one male participant had agreed to wax his chest to raise funds.
Ms Bell shaved her head two years ago in support of a cousin, who was battling cancer at the time.
"I did the shave two years ago for my cousin who sadly passed away just a few days after," she said.
"My community really got behind me at the time and it ended up being a local event."

Ms Bell said there would also be live entertainment at the charity event and a number of raffles.
"We are also holding a raffle so if anyone has anything they would like to donate it would be much appreciated," she said.
Ms Bell said the charity event would be held at the Woolsthorpe Union Station Hotel on Saturday, March 27 from 5pm.
You can donate to the team by searching for the Woolsthorpe Warriors on the World's Greatest Shave website.
