Rebecca Toomy, 45, appeared in Warrnambool Magistrates Court on Monday where she made a self-represented, unsuccessful bail application.
The woman is accused of breaching a court order at the weekend by allegedly pushing a male victim and intentionally breaking a window.
The court heard police were called to reports of the alleged assault at a Portland property on Saturday about 8pm.
Upon their attendance, Ms Toomy allegedly became immediately aggressive and agitated and was slurring her words.
She was arrested and conveyed to Portland police station where a first constable proceeded with a pat down search.
Ms Toomy allegedly kicked the first constable in the left leg.
On Monday, she told the court she would not have meant to kick the officer.
She said she was a trained age care nurse who needed to be released from custody in order to obtain an x-ray on her right tibia which was fitted with a titanium screw.
The court heard the woman had nine pages of criminal history and at the time of the alleged offending was on bail for unrelated offences, including shop theft.
Magistrate Franz Holzer said the woman was an unacceptable risk of reoffending and remanded her in custody.
She will appear in Portland Magistrates Court in April.
