Not only did she achieve her long-time goal of jumping more than five metres (5.04), she also broke the T20 under 20 Australian record.
She achieved the feat during the women's under 20 long jump and finished eighth overall.

Sharp, competing for Eureka Athletics Club, won the women's AMB long jump with a 4.74m effort on Saturday.
She backed up after winning the women's under 20 para 100m during the first weekend of the meet.
Warrnambool's Grace Kelly, running for Ballarat Harriers, continued her unbelievable streak at the state titles.
She won the 100/200m double for the third year in a row.
The teenager blitzed the competition in the women's under 16 200m on Sunday.
She ran 25.28 seconds and finished more than 10m ahead of the rest of the field.
Kelly is racing in the women's 120m at the Warrnambool Gift on Saturday.
Meanwhile, Athletics South West Turbines' (ASW) Emily Morden was less than a second short of taking her third gold medal at the meet.
Coach Phil Molesworth said Morden ran a one-and-a-half second personal best to claim silver in the women's under 20 800m in two minutes and 13.48 seconds on Sunday.
It came after Morden won two medals - gold in the under 20 1500m and bronze in the under 20 3000m steeplechase - on the first weekend of the meet.
Molesworth said the youngster had impressed Victoria's athletics community with her improvement.
He said commentators were calling her name all the time now through races.
"They're wondering where the heck this girl has come from," he said.
He added "the other coaches are already trying to work out how to beat Emily".
Molesworth, who started working with Morden during 2020, said she was a pleasure to mentor.
He said her strength was her kick finish in the final 150m of a race.
"She's got a character that lets her go through the pain barrier," he said.
Molesworth said Morden would have a break before ramping up her preparation for the Australian Track and Field Championships in Sydney from April 12-21.
She has qualified to run for the Victorian team in the 800m, 1500m and 3000m steeplechase by finishing in the top three at the Victorian titles.
Fellow ASW runner, Josh Bail, scored a more than 30-second personal best in the men's under 18 3000m on Sunday.
He placed fifth in nine minutes and 2.48 seconds, courageously edging out the sixth finisher by a whisker.
Molesworth described it as a "coming of age" performance for the teenager.
"He walked off (the track) believing he was part of it now," the coach said.
Bail is still aiming to achieve the 3000m qualifier for nationals.
