Under 12 and under 14 players were left disappointed when the state government's five-day snap lockdown forced last weekend's competition to be postponed.
Warrnambool Basketball junior co-ordinator Mike McGorm said it would now be played on March 13 and 14.
McGorm, who coaches Warrnambool Seahawks' under 12 division one team, said his players were rapt.
"My guys were upset last weekend and didn't understand the concept of it," he said.
"They worked really hard, as hard as any other team, and to have it pulled away quickly was a bit devastating.
"They are now over the moon they get to play the tournament because they thought it was gone."
Meanwhile, Warrnambool's under 16 and under 18 teams will compete at the country championships in Traralgon and Bendigo respectively.
Warrnambool Seahawks' senior team will play at the Arc at 7pm on Saturday night as Country Basketball League resumes after the lockdown.
Seahawks coach James Mitchell said 120 fans would be permitted in the stadium.
