Premier Daniel Andrews announced on Friday a five-day statewide lockdown in the wake of a coronavirus cluster in Melbourne.
The new rules, which come into effect at midnight, do not permit indoor or outdoor weddings unless "end of life or other exceptional reasons".
South-west wedding celebrant Emmalee Bell said couples planning to marry on Saturday were rushing to reschedule their special day ahead of the snap lockdown.
"I had two weddings on tomorrow, both of which are now happening tonight," she said.
"I've got to race home, prep the paperwork and marry the two couples before 11.59pm tonight.
"I already had a wedding on today. The last time I did three in one day was on 11/11/2011 and I said at the time that I would never do it again."
The weddings will be held in Killarney, Port Fairy and Warrnambool.
Ms Bell said one couple learnt about the new restrictions during their wedding rehearsal.
"The couples are very upset," she said.
"This was their second or third attempt at a wedding as previous lockdowns forced them to cancel at least once.
"I'm a little stressed out myself. Even at the height of previous lockdowns I was still able to do weddings, they've never actually been cancelled so it's quite unbelievable to go into such a strict lockdown so quickly."
