One of the victims of the COVID-19 pandemic when it hit in March last year was the Rhyme Time Story Time program ran by the Port Fairy and Koroit libraries.

Librarians Elaine Day in Port Fairy and Jennie Hickey in Koroit had built up a big following for the program before it was ground to a halt.
But while the Koroit program is yet to recommence, the news is better in Port Fairy, with Monday marking its long-awaited return.
A good turn-out for the first session has hopes high of the program again soaring to its post-pandemic high.
"It's great to have it back, everyone is very excited," Mrs Day said.
