The 20-year-old is in the mix for selection to play against North Melbourne and fellow south-west export Emma Kearney at GMHBA stadium on Sunday.
Clarke, who hails from Branxholme, is entering her third season with the Cats and her goal for the fifth year of the competition is for more improvement.
"It's just to keep improving in my forward craft, learning more and helping others learn as well," she said.
"We want to become more untied as a team and with that it will help us on the scoreboard and help us win games as well as becoming closer as a team."
The former Greater Western Victoria Rebel, who has played 11 games and kicked five goals so far in her career, said she didn't feel completely settled in the side.
"It's hard to tell as we've got so many new, young players coming in and they've slotted into the side well," she said.

"It's an ever-changing squad and you never know. All I can do is my best and for me I don't think there'll be a time I'll be settled.
"I'll keep doing what I can and work on what I can improve. There's lots I need to learn. More about the forward line and footy in general as it's just still the beginning."
Clarke returned to her family's farm in the south-west last season due to the coronavirus pandemic and tried to make the most of the two months she spent at home whilst continuing to train.
The Deakin University Exercise Sport Science student used farm equipment for her gym work and she also travelled to familiar ovals to do her running.
Clarke congratulated St Kilda debutant Renee Saulitis on getting her chance at the highest level. The Saints youngster will become the fourth south-west export to play in the AFLW on Friday.
