Veronica Kelly and Melissa Roberts became the first partnership to win Warrnambool Bowls Club's $12,000 Ladies Prestige Pairs back-to-back.
WBC bowls coordinator Paul O'Donnell confirmed they were the first pair to achieve the feat in the event which has run more than 20 years.
Kelly hails from City of Geelong Bowls Club and Roberts plays at Bendigo East Bowling Club.

They were the only team to win all six of their games during the three-day tournament and took home a $5000 prize.
"I'm thrilled to pieces, we haven't played together since last year," Roberts said.
"So that's pretty good because we live a long way apart.
"We're best friends and we just love each other so it's really special."
Kelly was also stoked with the victory.
"It's just an amazing feeling to come back down and do it all over again and actually have a win," she said.
"It's really not easy to do but it was fabulous."
The pair felt they had a strong Thursday before they were seriously tested on Friday.
"The last one - the ladies there were really serving it up to us and we really had to think of what we were going to do to try and beat them," Kelly said.
"Luckily it worked."
That final encounter was against Warrnambool City.
Kelly said the friends kept coming back to Warrnambool because they loved bowling as a pair and didn't get to play together any other time of the year.
"It's very well run, very nice people, great camaraderie with everyone and it's just a great experience and a lovely place to come," Roberts added.
Both bowlers competed in State Champions Week at City Memorial.
Roberts was in the women's triples and Kelly was in the women's pairs and the women's champion of champions singles.
