Rhys Dews (28) and Matthew Porra (17) steadied the ship for the visitors when the game was in the balance.
Arthur got the Roosters out of a tough spot in their innings.
"We were one for nothing so it was good to step up and make the runs that I needed to make to give us a competitive total," he said.
"I was just trying to tick (the run-rate) over because I knew boundaries were going to be scarce.
"You've just go to keep trying to move it around and get the score rolling over so you don't get bogged down."
Arthur said Wangoom wanted to be more consistent with its batting in the remaining rounds of the competition.
"We've had a struggle with the bat this season," he said.
Arthur explained the Roosters had kept some teams to low totals this summer but hadn't been able to reel in those targets.
