CARNIVAL: Warrnambool's seaside carnival is ready to welcome patrons with a stack of rides including Australia's biggest travelling ghost train and new dodgem cars.

GOLF: Warrnambool East Rotary Club's hole-in-one competition has returned for its 13th year next to the city's skate park. Running until January 26 with the competition ending with the final shoot off to win the black Kia Picanto. Head down to support the club's biggest fundraiser for the year.
EXHIBITION: Margaret Olley is one of Australia's most popular artists and this exhibition highlights her lifelong passion for painting interiors and still life. The show at the Hamilton Gallery runs until January 31.
GALLERY: The Merri View Gallery's exhibition celebrates the city's history in it's theme 'Warrnambool Past, Present and Future'. The gallery is open daily until January 24 from noon to 4pm.
MURAL PROJECT: Artist in residence Sinead Murphy is creating public art on the shipping container in Lake Pertobe. Pop in for a chat between 12-4pm until January 17

SCREENING: The outdoor cinema at Lake Pertobe features Namatjira Project at 4.30pm and Almost Famous at 6.30pm. Grab your picnic rug, deck chairs and settle in for a fun movie event with family and friends.
BEER FESTIVAL: Grab your last minute tickets to Jantoberfest and celebrate the golden ale. The day event kicks off at 12.30pm at Raffertys Tavern with tickets available via Eventbrite.
SAFETY: The Transport Accident Commission's Vanessa program aims to educate the current generation of young drivers around how they can keep themselves and their mates safe on the roads. The Vanessa fleet, comprising three 5-star ANCAP rated vehicles, including the 'Big V' bus will be at Lake Pertobe from 2pm to 6pm.

RACING: Head to the racing track in Hamilton for a family friendly day and watch the $35,000 Matthews Petroleum Hamilton Pacing Cup. MUSIC: Spend your Wednesday afternoon relaxing on the Flagstaff Hill wharf listening to solo performers and group acts of all ages and abilities. Free entry to the wharf after 2.30pm.
MARKET: The Warrnambool Community Garden's market returns from 3.30pm to 6.30pm with stalls of fresh fruit and vegetables, seedlings and plants from within 150 kilometres of the city.
OPEN DAY: South West TAFE and Pure Academy will hold their annual open day virtually. There are various sessions hold throughout the day in all study area. Registrations are essential via open.swtafe.edu.au/
SWIM: Belfast Aquatics has brand new inflatable adventures for kids to enjoy. Running from 1-4pm, head down to the indoor pool for an afternoon of activities and exercise.
