Club member Anne Adams has spent much of the week stocking the Warrnambool Club on Kepler Street with an array of fiction, autobiography, politics, history, non-fiction and cookery books which will be available for purchase from Saturday 10am.
"Our first sale came out of someone shifting houses," Mrs Adams said. "When you get some books, they tend to multiply.
"It's great to be able to put this event on in the Warrnambool Club while there's the opportunity to use this building. It's such a lovely building to have it in.
"It looks as though the weather will turn meaning it will be a great day for a book sale."
There are rooms full of books in the Warrnambool Club for you to peruse throughout the weekend as well as a display of Andrew Suggett's artwork and lavender bags, pillows and heat packs handmade by Anne Donaldson of Periwinkle Patchwork.
The book sale is also a chance to become familiar with the Rotary Club which is always on the lookout for new members.
"Membership is open to adults who demonstrate good character, integrity and leadership, and are willing to serve in their community," Mrs Adams said.
"Each member is expected to use their skills and vocational background to serve others in various communities."
The book sale begins at 10am on Saturday and runs until 4pm. On Sunday the event is again from 10am-2pm.
Head down to the Warrnambool Club at 86 Kepler Street and grab yourself a new book.
