The Mailors Flat teenager will compete in the Western District Junior and Young Rider Carnival on January 2-3.
It comes after her success in the senior 90-centimetre show jumping section at the interschool competition at Werribee Park earlier this month.
Manuell, aboard German riding pony Neapolian, performed strongly to take out the title.
"I entered myself in the 90cm class. We had to do two different classes to then combine the two for the overall," she said.
"The first class I won and I also won the second class so I then obviously won the overall.
"The first class I had to do two rounds of show jumping. The first one I just had to go clear and the second one was on time.
"The second class, half the course was clear and the other half was on time."
Manuell, 18, will do the 90cm, 1m and 1.10m classes at the Hexham competition, which, for some competitors, starts on New Year's Eve.
She is a regular on the south-west show jumping circuit after falling in love with horses in prep.
"When we first moved out here one of our neighbours had horses and mum (Angela) had horses as a kid," she said.
"I am very competitive in my sport but I only really do local events and state events.
"I just love the thrill of it and I love all my speed classes.
"The harder classes, I like them."
Manuell recently graduated from Brauer College, winning an Australian Olympic Change Maker award, and works part-time at trainer Matthew Williams' horse stables, helping with feeds and walking.
The Dennington netballer has also started Beauty By Emily.
"I will definitely stick around here (next year). I have a little beauty business," she said.
"I started it this year. I do lash extensions, tanning and lash tints.
"I have a little set-up at home and mum also has her hair salon here as well."
