The emerging player achieved the rare feat when playing with mates at Warrnambool on Thursday in breezy conditions.
Joseph, 13, scored an ace on the 117-metre par-three ninth hole and celebrated with high-fives with Lachlan Walker, Elijah McLeod and Justin Gillin who were in his playing group.
"I am feeling stoked and happy that I made one," he said.
"I was on the ninth tee and I hit a pitching wedge and we all thought it went over a ridge and we couldn't see it but it really went in the hole.
"We saw there was one ball on the green so we thought someone holed it because two of us hit it on."
The ace comes as Joseph continues to slash his handicap.
He is already playing off 13.
The Emmanuel College student, who will enter year eight in 2021, has packed his school books away for the summer holidays and is hoping to reduce his handicap with extra competition and practice rounds.
"I'll play two or three comps a week and one or two practice rounds a week with my friends," Joseph said.
"I just went away with Western District (too) to play at Buninyong, Ballarat and Midlands.
"It was really nice and fun."
The youngster wants to use the Christmas holidays to fine-tune his game.
He hopes extra hours on the course will allow him to do that.
"I probably need to improve on my putting and chipping," Joseph said.
"I like my iron play at the minute."
Joseph, who is also a swimmer and surf lifesaver, followed his dad Nicholas onto the golf course.
He said his father gave him something to aspire to.
"My dad plays it and he is pretty good at it so I just wanted to do it," Joseph said of his introduction to the sport.
"He's had a hole-in-one too."
