The fourth-ranked Crabs will play third-placed Yambuk in division one at Yambuk Recreation Reserve on Saturday.
Killarney is coming off two losses in a row to Hawkesdale and Grassmere. Although the Crabs won two on the trot before that.
"We've had a few problems with our batting the past couple of weeks," Doran said.
"We've had a few blokes who have had a start and we've had a few decent collapses as well.
"Once we can get some stability in the batting, I reckon we'll be right because our bowling has been pretty good."
Doran has been a revelation for the Crabs this season.

The wicket-keeper/batsman, who hails from Maryborough, took up cricket this season after a few years off.
Teammate Stuart Hill got him to the club as they both work at the Port Fairy abalone farm.
Doran and another teammate, Ben Woolcock, are also marine biology students at Warrnambool Deakin University.
The 20-year-old just finished his second year and Woolcock is doing honours.
Doran, who previously played for Maryborough Cricket Club, has been a standout with the bat this year.
The first drop made 27 against Grassmere last weekend, his highest of the season.
He registered 21 runs a fortnight before.
Doran said he had been adjusting to the faster pace of the one-dayers as he played two-day cricket at Maryborough.
The recruit explained the Crabs' bowling effort had kept them in every game.
"I think we've bowled out a couple of teams and restricted them so we've never been fully out of games," he said.
"Because we've bowled first most weeks, we've never been out of the game before the innings break so it's usually the batting that's let us down."
Doran said a few early wickets against Yambuk would be important despite batting being the focus for Saturday.
"They made a pretty handy score against us last time so we'll look to get a few key wickets early on from the fellas who made runs (last time)," he said.
In other matches, Grassmere hosts Woolsthorpe/Mailors Flat and Wangoom will play Hawkesdale.
