South-west roads have received almost $3 million for upgrades.

The cash boost comes from the federal government's Road to Recovery funding program.
Moyne Shire Council received $1,152,903 and mayor Daniel Meade said ongoing funding was crucial to resident's safety.
"This contribution will go towards works on a number of shire roads, including the Darlington-Nerrin Road, Tarrone Lane, Grasmere-Hexham Road and the Sisters-Garvoc Road," Cr Meade said.
"Council continues to advocate to both the state and federal governments for funding to improve safety on our roads."
Corangamite Shire received $896,001 which assets planning manager John Kelly said brought the region's allocation for 2020-2021 to $2,285,555
"This goes towards rehabilitation of a 1.7 kilometre stretch of East Hill Road, between Bookaar and Milangil, 1.9 kilometre of Linton Road at Mount Bute, and 300 metres of Blake Street, Skipton," Mr Kelly said.
"Roads to Recovery is a very important program which provides a large portion of council's infrastructure budget each year."
Southern Grampians Shire received $912,113 which will go towards the rehabilitation of the Caramut-Glenthompson Road and the reseal of Five Ways Road,p art of the Hamilton-Chatsworth Road, Mooree-Culla Road and Zig Zag Road. Murroa Buckley Swamp Road will be funded for resheeting while Harmans Road is claiming $130,347 to be resheeted.
Under the program Warrnambool City Council receives $425,000 annually for road upgrades.
Member for Wannon Dan Tehan said the government would deliver over $171.1 million to 344 local government authorities nationwide for safer and better-maintained roads.
"The Roads to Recovery funding in Wannon will allow councils across the area to progress a number of high-priority projects, using local knowledge to deliver the best local roads," he said.
"The Australian government is committed to getting Australians home sooner and safer, no matter where they live."
Rounding out the funding for Wannon municipalities was $950,000 for Ararat Rural City Council, $220,000 for Colac-Otway Shire, Northern Grampians Shire Council received $621,639 and Pyrenees Shire Council $707,289.
