Ocean Beyond won the $140,000 McKenzie Stakes for Bowman while Ryan was successful with Grandview Avenue in the $140,000 Carlyon Stakes.
Bowman told The Standard - Ocean Beyond, a $60,000 purchase at the New Zealand Ready To Run Sales last November - will now be spelled before being aimed at the $1 million Australian Guineas at Flemington on February 28.
"Ocean Beyond has an unbeaten record - two starts for two wins," the popular group one-winning trainer said.
"He can't do any better than that. There's plenty of improvement in him. The Australian Guineas is the race I have in the back of my mind.
"He'll have a good break and will come back into work a more mature horse. The win is a wonderful result for all the hard work that our staff put in each day.
"It's also a great result because local owner Bill Gee, who has been a big supporter of our stable, is in the ownership and a few other locals including Marcus Norton have shares in Ocean Beyond."
The three-year-old took his stake earnings to more then $97,000 after his Valley victory.
Meanwhile, Ryan was excited with Grandview Avenue's easy victory.
"I never thought he could come to town and beat a handy field of sprinters so convincingly," the former jumps jockey turned successful trainer said.

- Daniel Bowman
"We've always had Grandview Avenue in the stable my father-in-law (Peter McLaren) bred him.
"I've always rated Grandview Avenue as a handy sprinter but after this win he may be better than I thought.
"I think the key to him has been running in races around the 1000 metre mark previously he's just struggled to run out a strong 1200 metres so we'll keep him to races around the 1000 metre mark.
"I reckon another key is he likes the Valley. He's been a wonderful money spinner for his connections and is even better on soft to heavy tracks but we'll keep him going while he's running so well."
