Bowman, who has trained seven winners from his past 20 runners, saddles up Ocean Beyond in the $140,000 McKenzie Stakes over 1200 metres.
Ocean Beyond makes the jump from a maiden victory at Geelong to a listed race but Bowman has his fingers crossed the three-year-old will put in a forward showing.
"It's a big jump in class but Ocean Beyond shows a lot of promise," the group one-winning trainer said.
"I would not normally jump horses from a maiden to a listed race but Ocean Beyond has shown us from day one he's got a fair bit of natural ability.
"He's had two good track gallops at Camperdown and Warrnambool since his maiden win and is in top condition.
"I've been very happy with his track work after the Geelong victory. The small field should help his chances and Harry Coffey rides him again.
"He should run well. The stable has had a great run in November, I'm just hoping it will continue."
Ocean Beyond is rated a $4.80 chance in the early betting markets.
Fellow Warrnambool trainers Peter Chow, Simon Ryan and Lindsey Smith have runners on the nine-race program.
Chow accepted with Pres De Toi, Moor Wanted and Paul's Regret. The popular trainer said he was hopeful for a change of luck with Pres De Toi.
"She's just had no luck at her last few runs," Chow said. "Pres De Toi is in good order. She's got a good chance."
Ryan saddles up his underrated galloper Grandview Avenue. Queen La Diva has her third run in from a spell for Smith.
Ciaron Maher, who trains in partnership with David Eustace, accepted with Nowitzki, Gulf Of Suez, Sunday Yum Cha, Ocean Thirteen and Bartholomeu Dias.
