Hannah featured in Factory's first three fixtures but has returned to Melbourne Cricket Club ahead of its season start on November 28.

Nestles coach Alex Strauch told The Standard's weekly cricket show, Cow Corner, Hannah's departure was a blow but urged his team to fill the void.

"It definitely leaves a hole in our bowling, but Lewis (Eldridge) is still with us this week," he said.

"Glenn bowled beautifully last week but it wasn't enough to get the chocolates. It's definitely a hole.

"The guys at the club certainly learn from people like Glenn and Lewis, how you prepare, how you play on game day with plans with your bowling.

"There certainly is a window there for somebody to step into that role, obviously we'd love Pricey (Matt Price) to do it, we'd like Chook (Jake Hetherington), we'd like Biddy (Caleb Bidmade) as well.

"Anyone thrown the ball on Saturday can learn from what the boys have brought in and bowl the same way."

Nestles will play off against the undefeated Russells Creek on Saturday.

Creek, on the other hand, have retained premier cricket prospect Dom Bandara until at least Christmas.

Skipper Matt Petherick said Bandara was playing a vital role in batting at number six.

"He can gear his innings pretty well. He can start slow and get himself in and he has that ability to play 360 degrees which is something we probably haven't had apart from Cam (Williams)," he said.

Petherick said Nestles had been Creek's "bogey team" over the past few seasons. He said batting was of utmost importance.
