The 28-year-old, who hurt his knee diving for a catch in the Bulls' round one loss to Dennington, had scans this past week.
The club initially feared the injury could be ruptured posterior cruciate ligament but the MRI revealed bone bruising was the extent of the damage.
To have him coming in (last week) when we were two for 118 with 18 overs to go would've been ideal.

Bulls coach Kalon Wilkie said Murphy's inclusion charged up his middle order.
He said the fast-scoring all-rounder was initially planning to bat to ease back into cricket but had bowled at training and pulled up well. "We missed him last week. We got off to such a good start and to have him coming in when we were two for 118 with 18 overs to go would've been ideal," Wilkie said. Wilkie said Murphy could move well but was battling soreness.
