She didn't get the chance to mentor in 2020 with the Warrnambool and District league cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic.

So she's signed on again for 2021 and is excited to take on her fourth year at the helm.

"I thought I would always go one more year, anyway," she said.

"They're a good bunch of girls and we really get along, so it seemed fitting."

Creek, trying to build on an eighth-place 2019 finish, will have some new faces including Robertson's younger sister, Sarah.

The goalie and midcourter has played with the club in the past.

Robertson confirmed gun goal shooter Sarah Forbes is back.

Forbes was set to miss the 2020 season after moving to Melbourne for university.

Robertson said she was back home, studying online and working.

The coach also hinted there were some more recruits in the pipeline.

She added Creek would be without wing defence Siobhan White for 2021 who has moved back to Colac.

The club also has youngsters, such as Sophie Morton, graduating to senior level.

Meanwhile, Robertson is keen to give teenager Charlotte Van Der Starre senior court time next year.

"I'm really big on junior development because I'm a junior coach as well," Robertson said.

Van Der Starre finished runner-up in the 15 and under league best and fairest in 2019.

"She's a really outstanding player and is a strong young netballer," Robertson said.

While the coach will look to promote others, she doesn't think she'll be getting on the court herself.

"No, I don't think so," she said.

"Two knee reconstructions is enough for me I think.

"I had my first one when I was 15 or 16 and this (recent) one was on the same knee.

"I've had a lot of scar tissue and things like that to work through.

"The recovery has gone a bit longer than we initially hoped so I'm not really interested in getting back and playing again.

"I want to look after my body from now on."

Robertson had her second knee reconstruction in the middle of 2019 after injuring herself in one of the early netball rounds in 2018.

"I didn't start to feel good until April this year in terms of pain and things," she said.

The A grade leader added not having gyms available this year, due to the COVID-19 pandemic restrictions, had also made it harder for her to build up muscle.

Robertson said Creek's A graders had started doing some social-distanced personal training sessions to prepare for next year.

She said the netball committee would meet soon to decide on dates for the club's try-outs.
