CHANGE: Rebecca's has been the trailblazer for cafes in Port Fairy. The business, in Sackville Street for nearly 30 years, also operates a successful ice-cream shop. The virus has changed the way the business is run. Patrons can expect within weeks to see a pop-up ice-cream shop open in the café.

URGENT: major road works are needed in Regent Street, Port Fairy. The road has developed into a major through road from the highway to the river. Patch up jobs are not the answer for this important road. There are various other roads and streets around Port Fairy and Koroit that need urgent attention before an influx of tourists hit the local area for the summer period.
AMAZING: Port Fairy has received some incredible statewide television coverage to promote it in the past 10 days. Firstly, the Channel 9 weather crew was in town last Tuesday and they were followed by Channel 7's crew on Thursday. Both channels filmed their evening weather segments from the Moyne River. The cost for Port Fairy, if the town was forced to pay, would have run into large amounts of money. The coverage on both channels showcased how beautiful Port Fairy is and the long-term benefits from the exposure will be immense not only for the town but also the region.
WAIT: the 2021 footy season appears a long way off but the footy rumour mill in in full swing. The biggest rumour doing the rounds is Koroit's multiple premiership player Ben Goodall is contemplating making a return in 2021. Goodall was a star for the Saints in his playing days but it will be interesting if the handy golfer wears the red, white and black again next year.
