The Panthers fell to reigning premier Brierly-Christ Church on Saturday, succumbing to their third-straight defeat.
But Threlfall said belief remained high and was confident his side could arrest the slide with simple tweaks.
We've put in the work but I think we haven't been performing with the bat.

"We've put in the work but I think we haven't been performing with the bat. We've been playing probably a bit too aggressively," he said.
"I reckon a lot of us have been getting caught trying to clear the ring field. Hitting in the air is good when it comes off but that doesn't always happen.
"We haven't had a lot of consistency. I think we've had the one guy (Alastair Templeton) make a 50. But we're still confident we can turn it around pretty quick."
Threlfall, a top-order batsman, took on the captaincy from Templeton in the off-season.
He said the Panthers - who will tackle in-form powerhouse Woodford on Saturday - had to lift all aspects of their game to get a result.
The game is scheduled for Davidson Oval's turf pitch but The Standard understands it may be moved to a hard wicket due to a recent irrigation system upgrade.
"The batting definitely needs to improve. I'm not sure if we'll be on a hard wicket but that can be difficult for the bowlers," Threlfall said.
"You need to create different opportunities to get people out.
"But the batting is something that needs to improve and I think we need to take a bit of responsibility there."
Threlfall said Charlie Blacker, who moved up the order to open the batting with Templeton on Saturday, would likely retain his place.
"We just want to find the right balance with our order and we think Charlie is suited to opening," he said.
