The fourth-year player, who is entering her second season at midweek pennant powerhouse Warrnambool, is absorbing knowledge from more experienced teammates.
Parker, who regularly ventured to Warrnambool's greens to practise throughout winter, is relishing the chance to resume pennant on Tuesday.
"Over the COVID-19 period I've had a bit of coaching from (Paul O'Donnell) and I've picked up so much," she said.
"You have so many good players at the club and it's such a learning experience. You're just learning all the time." Parker's side, Warrnambool Gold, will battle Koroit Orange on its Timor Street greens. She said months of practise meant they were well-prepared.
"We were some of the luckiest to be able to keep bowling," Parker said.
"We had to adhere to restrictions in that you were allowed a limited amount of people at any given time and we had to wear masks but it was good to get out of the house and go down there.
"Going back to pennant is going to be great. It'll be good to see all of the other clubs and people you might normally see through the winter around the traps."
Elsewhere, City Gold will play Dennington Dolphins. City Green is away to Timboon Maroon, Mortlake Blue is away to Warrnambool Blue and Port Fairy Gold faces Terang Gold.
