The club, formerly known as Purnim, adopted a new name and colours when it shifted to the Warrnambool and District Cricket Association in August.
President Trevor Dowd said the colours and logo were distinctive and followed the palette of AFL powerhouse Port Adelaide.
"We had one come up with a logo and when we spoke about colours, we just wanted to go with something a bit different," Dowd said.
"We were trying to think what would be unique and what hasn't been used before in the league.

"The Port Adelaide-type colours, the teal and black and white, appealed to us."
He said the initials "P.C.C" would always feature as a part of the logo to ensure the club's proud history was preserved.
"That will stay on everything to represent our history as the Purnim Cricket Club," Dowd said.
"All reports we've had from people that have had a look have all been positive, so we're happy with that."
Dowd said the club, which initially plans to field division two and three sides alongside both male and female junior teams, would kit seconds players in coloured tops and pants for one-day and short-form fixtures.
Division three and juniors, meanwhile, will initially don coloured shirts with white pants.
"Numbers are good - there's always room for extras, don't get me wrong - but numbers are good, quality is good and training has been exceptional," he said.
"We've had great sponsorship. Anyone we've asked has been more than willing to put their hand up and become a sponsor.
"That makes life easy in this regard. It's all go-go-go. We just need a start. We can't wait for round one."
The playing list was made up of both Purnim players and new faces, Dowd said.

Dowd said there were no regrets over the decision to rename the club and lauded the "positive vibe" at Rodger Henderson Oval.
"I think if we didn't, we'd be languishing and struggling to recruit and trying to figure out a future," he said.
"We bit the bullet and decided for feasibility and the club, we had to make the decision early rather than late.
"I said from the get-go, it was better to go the league with something to offer, rather than going with cap in hand and asking if they'd take us. Currently we have (what the WDCA want). Whose to say down the track we would have?"
Northern Raiders' division two side will play West Warrnambool in round one at Purnim.
