Jessica Blacksell will be shouting her support for Richmond while her son Seb Grundy will be cheering on Geelong.
"We will have the house decked out in both team colours," Ms Blacksell said.
The two even have a $20 wager on the outcome.
Ms Blacksell has been a life-long Tigers supporter and was disappointed she was unable to attend a match this year due to the coronavirus pandemic.
She is tipping a 12-point Richmond win and hopes her favourite player Dusty Martin will win the Norm Smith medal.
"I think we have a very good chance of winning," she said.
"It will be a very tough game to watch."
Seb is tipping a 10-point Cats win.

"Now the grand final is very different this year, very different for obvious reasons," Premier Daniel Andrews said.
"Whilst I know that many people would normally spend time with family and friends to celebrate that day, whether their team is in the grand final or not, it is a big part of who we are.
"But (this year it has to be with) your household and only the members of your household, that's how grand final day has to be.
"You can't have friends over into your home.
"You can't pretend that it is over because we all desperately want it to be."
