We've asked some south-west football identities who they think will win the 2020 decider at the Gabba - Richmond or Geelong?
They're tipping a close decider at the Gabba on Saturday night.
JAMARRA UGLE-HAGAN
Role: Potential AFL draftee
Tip: Richmond by between one and 15 points
Norm Smith Medal: Bachar Houli just because he plays his role every time Richmond cross that line and he's obviously a very talented backman.
Why: Geelong first goal. Gary Rohan, only say this because I believe he feeds off moments like these. Richmond to win with the margin being between one and 15 points. Obviously both tough teams going into a grand final involving past premiership players who have experienced this kind of level.
MARTY GLEESON
Role: Essendon footballer
Tip: Geelong by 17 points
Norm Smith Medal: Mitch Duncan
Why: They have been playing so well together and are extremely hard to score against.
RENEE SAULITIS
Role: St Kilda AFLW player (drafted earlier this month)
Tip: Geelong by 13 points
Norm Smith Medal: Patrick Dangerfield or Dustin Martin
Why: I am tipping Geelong because I barrack for them but if they are able to get on top of it in the middle and deliver it well to Tom Hawkins, I believe they will be able to win.
BEN PRICE
Role: Allansford coach
Tip: Geelong by three goals
Norm Smith Medal: Rhys Stanley
Why: I'm a Cats supporter so I'll be tipping them but I also think that having lost a few finals over recent seasons they will have a strong desire to win and playing at the Gabba seems to suit them.
GERARD FITZGERALD
Role: Hamilton Kangaroos coach
Tip: Geelong by four points
Norm Smith: Patrick Dangerfield
Why: I expect a very tight, close grand final. In fact, we have got the grand final the majority had hoped for. Geelong has a slight advantage forward of the ball and defensively have the capacity to restrict Richmond's key forwards.
BEN WALSH
Role: Kolora-Noorat coach
Tip: Geelong by 16 points
Norm Smith: Mitch Duncan
Why: The Cats are in great form and I think Patrick Dangerfield up forward could cause some headaches for Dylan Grimes and the Tigers' defenders.
WINIS IMBI
Role: Port Fairy coach
Tip: Richmond by 22 points
Norm Smith: Shane Edwards
Why: Very consistent brand which stacks up in finals and any weather conditions. They rarely get too far behind on the scoreboard when the game isn't on their terms and then hurt opposition when the tide turns.
MATT ROSS
Role: AFL Western District operations manager
Tip: Richmond by 23 points
Norm Smith: Tom Lynch, has had a tough year and feel this will spur him on in the big dance to dominate.
Why: Heart feels Geelong but brain says Richmond. Both teams are packed with star power but can't see Geelong stopping Dusty Martin.
ALICIA DREW
Role: Ex-South Warrnambool women's coach
Tip: Richmond by nine points
Norm Smith: Dustin Martin because I want him to be the first player to win three but also Bachar Houli because he has been robbed twice before.
Why: I think we might have Geelong for pace and Jack (Riewoldt) is ready for a big game.
MATT O'BRIEN
Role: Warrnambool coach
Tip: Richmond by 12 points
Norm Smith: Bachar Houli
Why: Their pressure at the contest combined with two talls up forward supported by crumbing goal-kickers and a solid defence will be just enough. Their pressure should hinder the Cats from controlling the game too much and limit their uncontested marks.
