The mixed competition starts next week with Elliott upbeat about her side's finals prospects.
"I think it is looking pretty good. We've been very blessed with a lot of names put down from the male perspective," she said.
"It's a handy thing and it's nice we've actually got some emergencies for a change.
"We have really scraped (teams together) the last couple of years and sometimes we didn't even know how we were going to field teams but we did.
"This year is just really nice and comfortable."
The Port Fairy-based Elliott, 69, said belief was high at Victoria Park.
"We weren't expected to do real well last year and we did really well to even make the finals," she said.
"You have to go in confident, don't you?"
Bowling is a part of Elliott's regular summer schedule.
The mother-of-two and grandmother-of-four practices up to three times a week. She also plays Saturday pennant.
"My husband (Bruce) got me into it. I have been bowling about 15 or 16 years now," Elliott said of her introduction to the sport.
"It was something out of the blue and I really took to it and I enjoy it.
"I love my bowls, I could play most days of the week if I had an opportunity."
Elliott is grateful state government COVID-19 restrictions have eased in time for the Western District season.
The impact would have hit her harder had the rules been in play in summer.
"I didn't really notice it all that much because I suppose it was the winter months," she said.
"I think the club would have more so than the majority of the players because they always used to have a social thing every Sunday morning which they've had for god knows how many years.
"That would've been sad that part for all the social members."
Koroit Orange plays Warrnambool Gold away in round one on October 27.
Ten teams will compete in Tuesday division one pennant.
