In his president's report, Ian Powell reported the club now had 724 members, a leap from 658 the previous year.
Mr Powell said it had been a stressful year for the club due to the COVID-19 pandemic and its associated challenges.
These included the season ending early on March 22 and the club being unable to hold its annual presentation night.
Despite the unusual circumstances, Mr Powell was also able to highlight the many positives from the club's last 12 months.
"The education centre is well established and is the venue for many club and community activities, the facilities are state of the art and world class," Mr Powell said.
"The Australia Day nipper carnival was the last major club activity and it was a great success with nippers and their parents coming to Port Fairy, Portland, Mildura, Warrnambool and Port Campbell. The Warrnambool pipe band started the events off."
"Fundraising was very successful and this has helped maintain our club in a good financial position."
The club's volunteers produced 2018 hours of beach patrol over the past 12 months.
Club captain Shaun Murrihy led from the front, clocking up 81.25 hours.
This contribution won him the Michael Lockett Memorial Award, which is presented each year to the member with the most patrol hours. Martina Murrihy was named the female club person of the year and Danny van Engelen the male.
There were no club championship awards presented this year with no competition held due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Mr Powell has again been voted in as club president and will lead the club executive that is made up of the following:
Ian Powell (president), Paul Buchanan (vice-president), Adam McCosh (club captain), Nicole Dwyer (nippers coordinator), Shaun Murrihy (chief instructor), Abbie Artis (secretary), Tania Dalton (treasurer), Paul Nash (club administrator), Mick McGoldrick (COVID safe coordinator).
