A new podcast titled Cobden - Now We're Talking will launch on Wednesday.
Project leader Garry Ross said the podcast idea was one of 60 identified by the community as part of a Tourism Plan for Cobden.
The project has been supported by Progressing Cobden and a group of volunteers took on the podcast.
Mr Ross said the podcast would discuss what Cobden had to offer, and also interview different organisations, groups and individuals.

He said the community should be congratulated for thinking outside of the square and trialling new ideas.
He said the first episode featured Corangamite Shire councillor Jo Beard.
"She's a good talker and she discussed how COVID-19 and the restrictions have affected her and her young family," he said.
Mr Ross said the podcast was also a good way for former residents to keep up to date with what was happening in the town.
"Cobden information, stories, anecdotes and much more will be available through this new communication channel," he said.
"Cobden residents, visitors, tourists, former residents of Cobden who want to keep informed about what's happening. They can all pick up the podcast and listen in to chats, interviews and other information of value."
Mr Ross said the podcast team planned to release an episode each month.
