The emerging Opals star caught the eye when given opportunities off the bench for the Storm who won 92-59 in the Florida bubble on Thursday - 33 points the largest winning margin in WNBA Finals history.
The best-of-five series marked the end of a season staging entirely inside a quarantined campus after the coronavirus outbreak forced weeks of delay.
Magbegor chimed in with two points, one rebound and one assist in the romp while Opals and Storm teammate Sami Whitcomb watched from quarantine in Sydney after opting to return to Australia to be with her expecting partner.
Whitcomb averaged 8.1 points, 2.3 rebounds and two assists before departing the bubble, while first-round draft pick Magbegor averaged 6.5 points and 2.5 rebounds in her limited time on court.
The victory elevates the 21-year-old into the same company as Opals great Lauren Jackson, who won two titles with the Storm.
And it provides the perfect launching pad ahead of an import-free WNBL season and next year's rescheduled Olympics, where the world's No.2 side have their sights on gold.
Finals MVP Breanna Stewart and her USA outfit will be tough to dislodge though, Stewart setting a WNBA record by scoring more than 20 points for the sixth-straight finals game on Thursday.
"Everybody bought in and we didn't know what to expect from one day to the next," Stewart, who scored 85 points over three games, said.
"We kind of rolled with the punches and continued to play our game."
