Levi Tihi, 22, of Penshurst, and Tyrone Brown, 37, previously of Hamilton and now of Caramut, appeared in Warrnambool Magistrates Court on Friday for a committal mention hearing.
The pair entered guilty pleas to charges of burglary and criminal damage.
Brown also pleaded guilty to making a false report to police and Tihi to possessing methamphetamine and driving whilst disqualified.
The pair will face Melbourne County Court for a one-day plea hearing on October 27.
Brown is on trial bail with the condition he not leave Victoria and abide by a 10pm to 6am curfew.
Tihi remains on remand.
An earlier court hearing heard that on March 28, Tihi drove to Warrnambool's Gateway Plaza in a 2010 Ford Ranger utility with Brown and a female co-accused.
Warrnambool police Detective Senior Constable Derek Verity said the three were filmed laughing and joking moments before the four-wheel-drive smashed through the doors of the plaza and drove around before crashing out through another set of doors.
He said the footage also showed Tihi smoking an ice pipe while behind the wheel.
Detective Senior Constable Verity said when Tihi attempted to exit the plaza, the vehicle became stuck inside the foyer and CCTV showed Tihi failing to reverse back into the plaza a number of times.
He said Brown was observed exiting the vehicle and giving Tihi directions.
Tihi and Brown then swapped seats and the co-accused drove through a number of support beams before reversing back into the plaza, the detective said.
The vehicle was then seen travelling south, smashing through another set of doors and a concrete bollard.
The detective said CCTV footage showed the two men wearing clothes that were later found at their property during a search warrant.
He said Brown was wearing a homemade balaclava and Tihi a clown mask.
Police later found the vehicle abandoned nearby. A search uncovered health care cards belonging to the two men.
The pair were arrested on March 31 and conveyed to Warrnambool police station.
