The company was involved in the first stage of the project, but GE Renewable Energy has confirmed it would not be involved in stage two.
The company says it will work with Keppel Prince to secure future jobs.
"We hope to engage with Keppel Prince proactively in a qualification process to ensure our organisations are aligned on key customer deliverables of safety, quality, delivery and cost in respect to future projects."
GE Renewable Energy would not comment on which company received the contract due to commercial confidentiality.
It had previously said the second stage of construction would create 400 jobs.
Mr Maresh said recruitment to fill these jobs was underway.
